Terms and conditions

1. Who we are

These terms apply to all orders at RedTrolls (redtrolls.com), run by Markus Müllner, Seitenstettengasse 5/37, 1010 Wien, Austria, email mark@redtrolls.com (“we”). Mandatory consumer rights are not affected.

2. What we offer

Pre-recorded online video courses for tabletop roleplaying games, with downloadable materials, in our course area at redtrolls.com. We also offer a free course and free adventures.

3. How the contract is made

Clicking the payment button on the order form is a binding order. The contract is made as soon as your payment succeeds. We confirm it by email and send your login details. The contract language is English.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are final prices in US dollars. As a small business under the Austrian VAT exemption (§ 6 (1) 27 UStG), we do not charge VAT. Your bank may charge a fee for converting the currency. You pay through Stripe with the methods shown at checkout.

5. Your course access

You get access right after payment, for as long as RedTrolls runs its course platform, including future updates to the course. If we ever close a course, we will tell you at least three months in advance. Your access is personal: please don’t share your login.

6. 30-day money-back guarantee

If a course isn’t for you, write to us within 30 days of purchase and we’ll refund the full price, as long as you haven’t started more than half of its lessons. This guarantee is voluntary and comes on top of your legal rights.

7. Right of withdrawal

Consumers can generally withdraw from a contract within 14 days without giving reasons. For digital content such as our courses, this right ends as soon as your access begins, if you expressly agreed to immediate access before paying and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal (§ 18 (1) 11 FAGG). If the right still applies, tell us with a clear statement, for example by email to mark@redtrolls.com, within 14 days of the contract. We refund all payments within 14 days, using the same payment method.

8. Warranty

The statutory warranty applies, for digital content under the Austrian Consumer Warranty Act (VGG). If something doesn’t work, write to us and we’ll fix it or refund the price.

9. What you may do with the content

The courses and downloads are for your own use, including at your own gaming table with your group. You may print the PDFs and use the generators in your games. You may not resell, share or publish the videos, PDFs or other materials without our written permission.

10. Liability

We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence and for personal injury. For slight negligence we are liable only if we breach an essential contractual obligation, and only up to the price of the order.

11. Law and disputes

Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. We are not obliged to take part in proceedings before a consumer arbitration body. If there’s a problem, please write to mark@redtrolls.com and we’ll find a solution together.
