Privacy

In short
We collect only what we need to run the courses and send you the emails you asked for. The Meta (Facebook) pixel runs only if you agree to it in the cookie banner. We never sell your data.
Who is responsible
Markus Müllner, trading as RedTrolls, Seitenstettengasse 5/37, 1010 Wien, Austria. Email: mark@redtrolls.com. We have not appointed a data protection officer because we are not required to.
Website and course platform
This website, the course area and the checkout run on systeme.io, operated by ITACWT Limited, 2 Cruise Park Rise, Tyrrelstown, Dublin 15, Ireland, with servers at Amazon Web Services in Ireland. systeme.io processes data on our behalf. When you visit, the servers record technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages you open, to deliver the site and keep it secure (legitimate interest, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Cookies and the Meta pixel
Some cookies are strictly necessary, for example to keep you logged in to your courses or to complete a checkout. They don’t need your consent (§ 165 (3) TKG 2021).
With your consent we also use the Meta pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland. It tells Meta when you view a course page, start a checkout or buy, so we can measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram. Meta may combine this with your Meta account and may transfer data to the USA, which is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Without consent, the pixel is not loaded at all.
You can change your choice at any time with the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Fonts
To display our fonts (Inter and Cormorant Garamond) your browser loads them from Google Fonts, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google receives your IP address when this happens (legitimate interest in a consistent look, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Free course and emails
If you sign up for the free course or our emails, we store your email address and first name, when you signed up, and which emails you open or click. We use them to give you course access and to send you one email a week with DM tips and free adventures (your consent, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
Emails are sent through systeme.io, which uses Twilio SendGrid (USA) for delivery. Transfers to the USA are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Buying a course
When you buy, we store your name, email address, what you bought, the price and the date, and set up your course account (performance of the contract, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). The course area records which lessons you have completed so it can show your progress.
Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin D02 H210, Ireland. You enter your card details only at Stripe; we never see them. Stripe is responsible for the payment data itself: stripe.com/privacy.
